He may be winning a lot of awards. But, he has absolutely no care for the patients. He doesnot hear their concerns, reads a medical journal or magazine when the patient talks and is arrogant is replying questions from patients. I myself have been a patient of him. But stopped consulting him because he treats patients as dirt.
ReplyDeleteSurprised that Aravindhan has already accurately voiced my opinion about this doc Harinarayan. It's very very true that this doctor is a piece of crap. Very sad that higher education and awards does not make a person a respectable gentleman. I lost all respect for him. I certainly advice others to seek a better doctor with humanity. Me being an NRI am very sad to see that doctors like these are ruining the name of the profession in India. I wonder why a good hospital like Fortis has employed such a jerk.
ReplyDeleteShocking to see this doctor has so many awards. Honestly when I went to him for consultation my first impression was "what a terrible person". Maybe is well qualified but very arrogant and rude. I would not recommend you to go to him. I have zero tolerance for arrogance I was one step away from slapping him by the way he spoke to me and my family.

We are supposed to be Dispassionate in our approach to a patient.
Having a Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians from Edinburgh and Glasgow is equivalent to winning a noble prize in Medicine.
If he comes across as arrogant .He has every right to be.
The truth remains that you cannot find someone as proficient as him in the whole of South-East Asia

There is lot of difference between Arrogance and Dispassionate. Please refer dictionary. I know and seen many intellectuals during my life. Only people with mediocre knowledge are arrogant.
ReplyDeleteUndoubtedly he is very (only) money minded. As it was pointed above, he flips the pages in the report while looking and talking with patients. Should we believe that he has an Eye down his chin? if someone goes to him with any problem, his only cure is 'your bone density is less. get a Rs 60K injection from my personal assistant (not from hospital).
As Mr Bansal pointed, if Harinarayan is very knowledgeable, let him limit himself to papers and research. Let him not see the patients. What is the point in attending the patients if the doctor can't hear patient's concerns and can not see the reports.
dr hari is the best diabetologist i have ever seen in my thirty year diabetic condition. yes he prescribes certain tests there are some patients who go to him again without undergoing the prescribed tests. he gets upset.i asked him all my doubts got all clarifications of course being a genius he attends reading scribbling seeing xrays etc while talking to you we have to be shrewd to utilise his best services some of his prescribed medicines are also not costly but effective now i miss him in fortis in bangalore

Very bad behavior and arrogant doctor. He has no feelings for others. Asked that the test done are right as it has not been in the hospital. He should not be in the medical profession, he is good for writing papers and do research instead of minting money from patients.
ReplyDeleteAlso he has to use his own computer instead of using hospitals computer to do his personal stuff. As person is not a genius if he doesnt have the basic concern for the patient and he cant politely with anybody.
